What Does The Flower Pin On British
ignudi ... Tribute to Michelangelo ... Ignudi Chapelle Sixitine
Michelangelo, suspended under the ceiling of Sistine Chapel, railed against Pope Julius II to whom he owed the command of the frescoes adorning the immense sky bounded by four walls, "I'm not a painter but a sculptor! !!"..., groaned the giant lying on his scaffolding, a few inches of his subject.
Convinced he had, in fact, preferred to carve in marble his 20 magnificent ignudi rather than paint them, I proposed to offer this modest revenge by giving him the volume and shape that its author had give her beloved ... Humble approach of the apprentice to Master! And nothing
do it again I said no, because there are only 18! ...
(The 19th has not endured the ravages of time and has almost disappeared from its support chalky. What a pity I imagine it? ... Maybe one day I'll have the audacity ?...)

UNIVERSAL DELUGE ... Tribute to Michelangelo ... Sistine Chapel-
Driven by the same intentions as in my first tribute to Michelangelo, I put volume this old man wearing a teenager vanished, shown in the icon of the Great Flood, the ceiling of the Sistine
Officer his precious burden, he tries to escape the waves breaking on the ground and punished for their abominations? ... Which they have committed, the old man and his young burden so lovingly transported? ...
Would that Michelangelo himself for Tommaso Cavalieri, a young Roman patrician whom he delights "spiritual" thirty years, to make his last breath in his arms? ... We say that John has Thiancourt dirty minds or wants to make believe! What do I care, the sonnets are quite revealing of the Master ...
I designed the first issue (pictured above) from the original to me "put it in your fingers."
Unfortunately, having been distracted from this work, the earth has dried before the finish. At least one intermediate molding, this sculpture will remain unfinished ... But my teacher did he not left many in the same state? ... So!
