What Does The Flower Pin On British

ignudi ... Tribute to Michelangelo ... Ignudi Chapelle Sixitine

Michelangelo, suspended under the ceiling of Sistine Chapel, railed against Pope Julius II to whom he owed the command of the frescoes adorning the immense sky bounded by four walls, "I'm not a painter but a sculptor! !!"..., groaned the giant lying on his scaffolding, a few inches of his subject.
Convinced he had, in fact, preferred to carve in marble his 20 magnificent ignudi rather than paint them, I proposed to offer this modest revenge by giving him the volume and shape that its author had give her beloved ... Humble approach of the apprentice to Master! And nothing
do it again I said no, because there are only 18! ...
(The 19th has not endured the ravages of time and has almost disappeared from its support chalky. What a pity I imagine it? ... Maybe one day I'll have the audacity
?...)
